Did we mention how fussy we were when creating our parasols? So we understand if you’re fussy too. If you’d like to see a fabric sample before you order, please send us an email and we’ll post one straight to you.

Simplicity parasols & bases

The only items we hold in stock, ready to ship, are our Simplicity parasols and all bases. If you order one of these items and for whatever reason you don’t love it, you’re very welcome to return it to us, as long as it is in original condition. Please make sure you don’t tighten base screws around the parasol pole, as this will leave an indentation in the wood.

Please email us within 14 days of receipt at hello@pliaparasols.com to organise a collection. The cost of the return courier will be deducted from your refund amount.

Made to order parasols

Our made-to-order parasols (all except Simplicity) are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds

Your order will be refunded back to your original payment method once it has been safely received and inspected. Please note that your refund won't include shipping costs already paid unless your products arrived damaged or with a fault. For more information on this, see below.

Damages & faults

Upon delivery

Should the packaging be substantially damaged upon arrival, please report it straight away to the driver and send us images. If anything is damaged, incorrect or missing from your order, please inform us within 24 hours.

After use

Should your product develop a fault or damage over time, please contact us to discuss options for repair or replacement. We are able to supply replacements parts for your parasol, and advise on repairs.

5 year frame warranty

Applies to our bamboo wood parasol frames in residential settings only. We offer a 3 year warranty on our bamboo wood parasol frames in commercial settings.

The warranty covers the replacement of faulty parts. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the parasol is correctly mounted and secured in a suitable base or ground fixing, taking in to account the size of the parasol and the weather conditions.

Whilst our parasols are strong enough to handle winds up to 90kmph, your base holding the parasol might not be. If the breeze picks up, put your parasol down. We do not recommend or warrant the use of our parasols in winds exceeding 40kmph (25mph).

The parasol must be collapsed when left unattended, and in strong winds, you should lie your parasol down.
